Ready for the next step.

Learning never stops in this rocket-paced world of digital marketing and advertising, and still, after 20+ years in this field, I'm excited for the next challenge.

Cue the sports analogies. I've worn a slew of different uniforms and played for some big teams (Carat, adidas, Sonos), and helped out some smaller outfits, boutique interactive agencies, (Liquid, Ignited), and have been the internal agency for feisty, local eCom startups (Fluidstance, LUX), a confluence of great, good, and challenging seasons which have sharpened my skills and efficiencies.

I grew up in the Santa Barbara/Los Angeles area, avid reader, writer, beach volleyballer, longtime soccer player, and learning river kayaking and snowboarding. I’m a Dad to a pair of awesome sons, and I abide by the golden rule in every aspect of my life.

"I am a truly despondent man, fraught by curiosity."

This content is freestyle, akin to backyard solo break dancing. Bite size tales from the vault combine with poetic justice to try and make sense of the modern world. There's a push and pull tension in regard to the validity. Know that 100% of all the content is from AJ's cerebral vault, robot free, accept for the usual spell and grammar checks. There will be doubts from some, one who happens to be his lasting fwb and a lesbian in denial to boot.

"Why do you write this crap?" she asked. No one is paying to read it."

Aj thanked her for the attempt at encouragement. Critique coming from someone like her really meant something to the man.

"I figured if she didn't like it, then I might really be onto something."
