Video Game
"Maya vs. the World" is a narrative adventure I am writing and coding in Twine. Based on real-life situations in an almost real city in the Netherlands, it will give you a chance to play as a sex worker. In Maya's shoes, you will have to choose between high stakes options to stay afloat in the late-capitalist Netherlands... while your expectations of what it is like to work in the sex industry shatter.
A Pandemic mod will be made available at a later date, which allows you to explore the challenges faced by sex workers during COVID-19.

Translation of fiction from Italian to English
Comedic and philosophical writing find a perfect balance in Watch out, Kitten! to deliver an entertaining cautionary tale. The book explores the psychological journey of a community of cats, tormented by a widespread craving to cross a very dangerous freeway. By testing their own boundaries and desires, they will end up discovering a lot about themselves, and the attraction to risk that seems to be embedded in every living being's nature.

A series of unique characters from the Italian North-East find themselves in Luciana's office in a time-battered castle in Aiello del Friuli. The reason: finding the perfect star alignment that will make their wishes come true. But Luciana is not your typical neighbourhood astrologer: she will help you find the perfect match between locations all over the world and your natal chart, so that on your birthday you will undertake a special journey to activate your destiny.
The documentary follows the adventures of the protagonists around the globe, discovering how far they are willing to go, quite literally, to change their destiny.

Master's Thesis
Beyond learning that thesis titles ought to be much shorter, conducting qualitative research on sex work in Utrecht has been a key experience in my development as a writer.
By means of ethnographic and 'netnographic' research methods, I analysed cultural, political, emotional responses to the presence of sex work locations in the city. Using the New Zandpad (Utrecht) as a case study, I have written about current challenges in creating a participatory culture in policy-making, where sex workers themselves are included as stakeholders.
