Wink Digital is a Portland (OR)-based boutique digital marketing agency. I worked remotely as the company's chief copywriter to contribute to its mission to create innovative and emotive methods of connecting consumers to brands. We achieved this through comprehensive digital solutions that used custom brand and web designs that drove results and were highly tailored to the client.

Denver Center for Bariatric Surgery: Website redesign

Denver Center for Bariatric Surgery was one of the nation's go-to centers for weight-loss surgery. They approached Wink for a complete overhaul of their website and to create one with seamless functionality and, wait for it, approximately 300 pages. AND, while we would normally have 30 weeks to complete a project of this size, we had a timeline of 9.5 weeks.

We needed to:

  • increase digital conversions through provider selections

  • create a good-looking, high-performing website

  • produce optimised content to boost SEO rankings

  • modernise the user experience

The end result was a sleek, highly functional website jam-packed with informational yet compelling content that prioritised empowering a person who is considering bariatric surgery as well as creating a connection with them.

On-page optimisation was a huge priority for the client. Leading these efforts, I conducted thorough keyword and competitor research and capitalised on the site's existing, strong rankings. To keep the user experience top of mind, I wrote meaningful, engaging content and encouraged interaction through internal links, thoughtful CTA copy, and bold subheadings.

TMB approached Wink for a newly engineered website that bridged the gap between old and new media. The end result is a website that truly raises the bar. Working on the copy for TMB and its incredible portfolio of brands was a privilege, where a human-first approach took center-stage.
