My Learning Experience with Jasper | Academy

As a Jasper.ai subscriber for two months, I decided to enroll in the free Jasper Jumpstart course series to improve my proficiency with the platform. The course is available to everyone, even those without prior knowledge or experience with Jasper.ai. The entire course pathway took around 2 hours, and was broken into very digestible pieces. Overall, I give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars! Keep reading to learn more details.

What’s in the Course 

Throughout the course, learners are introduced to fundamental topics such as navigating the Jasper dashboard, understanding how Jasper thinks, using Jasper chat, using templates, documents, and workflow,, and setting up Jasper Brand Voice (its newest and most shiny feature). There is also a section on generating AI art, which demystified the process of generating usable art with AI. 

The course content includes a mix of written explanations, video tutorials, and hands-on exercises that helped me get better acquainted with the software. I found the delivery of the course to be engaging and easy to follow, and the content to be clear and concise.

The Good & Not-So-Good 

One of the strengths of this course is the focus on practical skills that can be immediately applied to projects I am working on. The inclusion of hands-on exercises on top of little quizzes was a nice touch. The quiz formats were satisfying, too.

While my general experience with the Jasper Jumpstart course pathway was positive, there were some areas where the content was outdated and repetitive. Jasper recently updated their software, and after a little experience with it, I can tell some of its modules use obsolete terminology and discuss features or paid levels that are no longer relevant.

I rated this course 3.5 out of 5 stars because there were some modules that lacked video content, relying only on written instructions. Although it was not difficult to follow along, I would prefer to have more videos included in future courses.

Conclusion

Overall, the Jasper Jumpstart course series is an excellent option for those looking to jump into using an AI writing assistant efficiently without getting lost and confused. The course provides a solid foundation for understanding and using Jasper.ai and is delivered in a way that is both engaging and easy to follow.

This course pathway is definitely worth checking out, especially if you are ready to jump into the world of AI writing assistants. There is also the opportunity to become Jasper Certified, which I might try to do further down the road.
