Meet the plushies!

The snails! We love the snails; they were inspired by my younger brother, who upon being told he could not have a reptile in the house, "rescued" some of the backyard snails. He now keeps them in a tupperware with holes in the top and mists them everyday. I save veggie scraps for them and they have babies...like a lot of babies.

Thisssss is a kitsune - a multi-tailed, supernatural fox in Japanese folklore. This pattern is from my amigurumi crochet book. My personal inspiration for this cutie is from Naruto- which is babe's favorite anime. I'm officially addicted to the show, even with all the filler episodes ;P

Moo-cows! I really just happened upon this pattern on pinterest (I think?) They are the absolute cutest and I love them being in different colors :)

I'm gonna hold your hand while I say this: we had an unhealthy obsession with Grogu aka Baby Yoda. There...I said it.

But, isn't he the f***ing cutest?! And, and... his cloak is removable :P

You just got DUCKED! Or, at least, that's where the idea came from. I also found this pattern on Pinterest. I originally made the teal and brown duckie for my momma; she has a teal Jeep, and it's basically another child lol ;)

My little dinos were inspired by one of my long distance best friends; she had a baby this year! She always has him dressed in dinosaur outfits, and I can't get enough! I live for my "good morning aunt meaghan" snaps. One day I will get around to mailing these lil guys...

I absolutely love my little hen house. They were my first obsession in crochet as far as amigurumi goes. This picture doesn't feature my very first chicken I crocheted, tbh I'm not sure where she got off to. Anyways, these mother cluckers all have a secret compartment underneath to hold thier eggs or baby chicks! :)

Okay, now this was an adventure. Originally, I set out to make a bass fish koozie for babe - but I wanted it to have a tail, and couldn't figure out how to also make it flat on the bottom. I settled on making a whole bass, but could only find patterns to buy online. In this economy? Absolutely not. So, with some trial and error, a lot of zooming in, and even more patience, I finally got a complete bass fish. I am lowkey super proud of this :P

I really didn't think these were going to turn out as good as they did. Let's get real; we all have a soft spot in our hearts for sea turtles. Just like the chickens, these little sea mommas have a compartment underneath to hold their eggs!

This little guy has more than meets the glassy eyes. He is a plushie nug...but that's not all...

He is also a stash jar! I absolutely love a dual purpose - even if one of those purposes is just being cute!

I've always condidered myself a moon child. I love looking up at the moon, I'm simply fascinated. Why not crochet one, right? And a little cloud to go with it. I found both of these patterns on instagram, I think lol

So, these cuties were originally inspired by Easter season, but theennn I found out a little story from babe. As it turns out, his late grandpa loved marshmallow peeps, and that is who he always thinks of when he sees them. I love serendipitous timing <3
