On Sept.15,

as the countdown to election day draws near, Pastor Brent Stancil of Community Bible Baptist church in Pinellas Park launched a powerful initiative: 50 days of prayer for our election. This intentional yet crucial movement aims to unite the community, seeking guidance and support as we approach such a pivotal moment in our democracy. Among them was Congresswoman Anna Luna, who made a special appearance to join fellow citizens in this sacred endeavor. With her presence, the event not only highlighted the importance of civic duty but also showcased how faith in God can intersect with politics.

This gathering brought elected officials and passionate advocates together under one roof—each person committed to praying over critical issues affecting our nation today. Multiple pastors took turns at the podium, sharing their insights while lifting up prayers for men and women serving in leadership roles across various levels of government.

For 50 days, community members are encouraged to come together and pray fervently as the election approaches.

As the event progressed, guest pastors focused on an assigned topic and prayed fervently for our country.

Luna took a moment to emphasize unity during these critical times. She shared her commitment to serving the community and reminded everyone that their voices matter—especially now.

Her participation reflected an acknowledgment of faith's role in leadership. That September night felt electric as prayers were lifted, echoing through the sanctuary, reminding all present of their collective strength as they anticipate what lies ahead in just fifty days till election day.
