Project background

Brewspiration is a new mobile bar serving beer, coffee, a memorable experience, and laidback good times on-site to its clientele in the Franklin, TN area. The trick with this project was to clearly convey the connection between the brand name, Brewspiration, and the product, service, and experience that the brand offers.

Creative process

I wanted to give this startup the best chance to get off the ground–or, rather, out of the garage–and rolling, so to speak. Through research, competitive analysis, and—most importantly—several interviews with the owner, I wanted to capture the spirit of Paul and Heidi—his quirky, reliable, and beautifully restored 1979 Volkswagen Westfalia Campervan— through benefit-driven copy and a UX structure that would keep users moving through the site while convincing them to convert.

Final results

With the help of brilliant graphic designer Blake Barnes doing the beautiful grunt work of laying out and getting the site up and running, we were able to cobble together a trusty sidekick of a landing page that's helped Paul's business off to a successful start.

Project background

Centennial Place is a gated community of updated built-to-rent homes strategically located in Jackson, TN, so that residents enjoy the amenities of a bigger city at small town expenses and accessibility. The goal for this project was to more clearly and cleverly communicate the benefit their rented homes bring to young professionals, families, and retirees in this central Tennessee locale.

Creative process

Through research, competitive analysis, and an in-depth interview with the manager, I wanted to convey the dependability and affordability of renting updated single-family homes with succinct, benefit-driven copy that would inspire potential residents to fill out a rental application as a primary action or, as a secondary action, contact Centennial Place with more questions.

Final results

Again, Blake Barnes pulled together an interactive, UX-optimized layout that effectively chunks the many benefits of a Centennial Place into an attractive website to convert potential residents.
