The film that brought romcoms back to theaters.

The return to theaters, to see a romcom no less, post Covid was going to be a hard feat no matter the genre. The last theatrical rom com release was in May of 2023 with Priyanka Chopra Jonas's 'Love Again'. Other romcoms had been released since then but on a direct-to-streaming distribution run.

The studios took a chance on Executive Producer, Sydney Sweeney and the return was lovely.

What does love look like on screen?

This film has almost every aspect of the iconic romantic comedies that we all know and love.

Staring Euphoria's Sydney Sweeney, Top Gun's Glen Powell, along with Dermot Mulroney. Whom you might recognize from Scream 6 but also graced our screens in the rom com "My Best Friend's Wedding" with Julia Roberts in 1997.

It’s funny, it’s sexy, it’s heartwarming, it's refreshing to see back on the big screen.

A much needed reminder

Anyone But You showed that even though there are many trials and tribulations to finding your someone in this day and age, it’s okay to hold out for something that makes you feel something.

A spark. A fire.

It’s okay to still want that in a world full of bare-minimums.

No matter who you are dating.

If you love rom coms, if you’ve missed seeing them in theaters, if you just want to look at gourgeous people on a screen for an hour and 50 minutes and forget about everyday life problems, please give film a shot.

Personally, my favorite was "My Best Friend's Wedding". Did you notice how I said 'was'? 🤭
