“Hold us in your heart and you will never lose your way.” Now I want to start this by saying my top three remain the same: The Fast & The Furious, Furious 7, and 2 Fast 2 Furious but that does not mean that I disliked Fast X.
The trailer, when it was first released, had me a bit concerned. I didn’t understand why the story was bring its viewers back to Fast Five. When the film started, it clicked.I remembered that Fast Five was filmed at a time where the entire cast was present, from then I was no longer confused.
Now, I haven’t been this upset at a Fast Series villain since Cipher but Jason Momoa had me wanting to jump through the screen. That reaction is what makes a good villain!
Brie Larson did a wonderful job. I am not too sure why there is so much negative energy towards her - I know why but I don't want to get into here. She wasn't over bearing, her character did not overshadow the other cast members and I hope we get to see more of her as Little Miss Nobody.
For everyone that keeps saying that the Fast series is going on too long, please keep in mind that Paul Walker was very adamant that this film could reach ten films.
He stated as such several times to everyone who would listen after the original Fast and Furious was released.
Speaking of Paul, our beloved Brian O'Conner, there is a very sweet way that he was honored in this tenth installment.
Pay VERY close attention to who is serving drinks on the plane during the flight scene. You never know who you might seeđź’•
