The Batman

Yet another version of Gotham's Anti - Hero.

When Ben Affleck was cast as Batman, most viewers could not wrap their minds around it. Personally I could not see which way the studios were headed with the last installment of Bruce Wayne films. When Robert was cast, I was even more worried, with that being said…

Edward Cullen was iconic but now so is Bruce Wayne.

The detective aspect of the Batman films has been missing since longer than I can remember. Robert Pattinson as The Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon brought back the classic game of Who Done It?

What a game it was.

Solve the puzzle.

Viewers don’t know what’s going to happen in Bat-verse, and once they do think they have it figured out…there’s another flip of the script and another hour of the film remaining.

Can you catch the killer?

With a three hour run time, it may seem like the film packed too much too soon and that it could have been split into two films. The fact that it actively chooses not to, for the sake of story and world building, brings the most iconic, villainous laugh to our ears.

A laugh known to many as The Joker.

Welcome to Gotham, Barry Keoghan! I look forward to seeing the next installment of The Batman.
