My Portfolio

Renault Trucks UK

Renault Trucks UK are a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles. My primary responsibilities revolved around digital marketing: managing the clients social media accounts, running PPC ads and providing analytical feedback.

Social PPC

I was responsible for creating, running and maintaining PPC ads across Facebook and Instagram. These ads would range from event specific posts to brand awareness to page like campaigns.

  • 76% increase in followers.

  • 35,438,780 people reached.

  • 1,181,079 engagements.

Management tools

I am well versed in using Hootesuite, Creator Studio and Sprout Social for social media management across all clients. With Renault Trucks UK, I used Sprout Social to schedule content, manage their community, provide competitor anaylsis, and feedback to the client with detailed metric reports.

Print's not dead

Although a large chunk of my work with Renault Trucks UK was in the digital realm, I still worked with some print publications to create content. I worked closely with a transport magazine to produce monthly columns where I interviewed members of the transport industry and create a write-up. I also acted as an editor for the client where I was sent thought leadership pieces to edit and send on to publications.

Renault Trucks UK Network

Outside of the main Renault Truck UK accounts, I managed some of their key network channels across Facebook and LinkedIn. This involves general social media management, PPC and feedback to the client on a smaller scale.

Renault Trucks UK Network in numbers from January 2019 to February 2022:

  • 1120% increase in followers.

  • 5,519,937 people reached.

  • 156,344 engagements.

The Anita Mendiratta Foundation

The Anita Mendiratta Foundation (AMF) works with communities hit by crisis to get children back to school. My role was to to build their social media and digital comms strategy in order to expand brand awareness, community and donor support.

Developing social strategy

Prior to joining AMF, the charity had no approach to social media. My role involved creating a strategy from scratch with a focus on improving brand awareness, community size and donor support. To achieve this I developed strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Mailchimp.

Content creation and management

After a strategy was set, I delved into content creation. Having no prior content to build upon, it offered me a clean slate to create what I felt was needed. I produced a bank of evergreen content, both copy and visuals, before mobilising and managing via Hootsuite.

Outcome

  • Six months of evergreen content that was tailored to the foundation's ToV, mission statement and desired goals.

  • Created key company guidelines on social media content, management, PPC and visuals for ongoing use as the charity continues to develop and grow.

  • Registering and setting up of accounts across Facebook (including Meta Ads), Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Hootsuite & MailChimp.

  • Across a period of six months there was a 3,700% increase in the number of followers, a 1,770% increase in engagements and a 2,700% increase in impressions across the foundation's social media platforms.

Ingenious

Ingenious are a science-based collagen company operating in the beauty industry. Their main objectives were to rebuild their website and improve their social media presence.

Website copy

One of my tasks was to completely re-write Ingenious' website. My main focus was on SEO, improving readability, structure and visibility. I also worked closely with the website designer to ensure the copy complemented the visuals.

Blog example

During my time working with Ingenious I contributed to their blogs. The aim was to produce content that was both informative and SEO friendly. The blogs were also a key feature for the company's social media channels and were promoted across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Social media management

I ran and maintained Ingenious social media accounts. From image selection to copy to community management, I had a hands on approach. I worked with the client to determine style and feel of each account, providing regular statistical feedback.

I also built and maintained relationships with influencers, supplying them with products in order to improve Ingenious' reach and awareness.

Ingenious in numbers over 14 months:

  • 111% increase in followers.

  • 8,017,383 people reached.

  • 20,234 engagements.

PPC

Alongside social PPC, I also ran Ingenious' Google Ads. The ads were created on a monthly basis and continuously tweaked to improve performance. The clients' three products differ vastly so each ad required detailed targeting.

Dragonfly Foods

Dragonfly Foods offer 100% organic, meat-free options from tofu to soysages to burgers. I was tasked with running the company's Instagram page and working with the wider team to develop creative content ideas.

Developing evergreen content

Due to the client's restrictive digital marketing budget, myself and my team developed an expansive bank of evergreen content to help build their social presence. We used Sprout to schedule these posts across several months, both reducing the team's workload and making sure the client got the absolute maximum out of their budget.

Personal Projects

Outside of my professional life I like to learn and develop new content and creative skills. I am hugely passionate about getting people talking about mental health and can also usually be found behind a camera on the weekends.

You, Me & Anxiety

I created You, Me & Anxiety after reminiscing about my previous anxious experiences. I realised that although they weren't enjoyable at the time, with the power of hindsight, they were actually quite entertaining to look back on. This got me thinking, and I realised a great way to reduce stigma around anything is through humour.

So, I started writing blogs on my experiences, focusing on the funny and the lessons I learnt. I then had people send me their own stories and it kept growing. Since then I have also created a podcast where I talk to guests on all topics relating to mental health from OCD to masculinity to politics.

Photography

I began my love affair with photography during my time at university. I became the university's newspaper photographer, worked for a range of societies as an event photographer and spent my weekends shooting at live music venues.

Nowadays I regularly head up to London to shoot street photography and my camera is always the first thing I pack before my travels.
