Print ad - PiratePT electronics (Spec)

Project details:

Apple revolutionized the way we listen to music with the iPod. After 15 years they announced they wouldn't be making any more.

Brief:

The brief is to do a small ad that can be distributed on Instagram or Twitter that piggybacks on Apple's announcement, to promote a company (PiratePTelectronics) that keeps old iPods alive for music lovers.

Creative process:

I used the voice of the pirate to make an informal and irreverent ad that engages the reader, while getting the message across in a playful way.

Print ad - Spotify (Spec)

Project details:

People are seeking connection. They are sharing playlists with friends and family, just like they used to create mixtapes.

Brief:

The brief is to write an ad for Spotify to persuade someone who is on the fence about subscribing to try a premium subscription.

Creative process:

I aimed to show Spotify as part of an everyday luxurious lifestyle.

Web Landing Page - Hemingway (Spec)

Project details:

Hemingway is an app and online editor that helps writers find mistakes and improve their writing in specific key areas.

Brief:

The brief is to create a website landing page aimed at copywriters. 

Creative process:

I considered the needs of a copywriter - to deliver polished work without errors - and aimed to show how the app could help them.

Web Home Page - Twinkl (Spec)

Project details:

Twinkl provides teaching and learning materials for primary and secondary teachers, childminders, nursery workers, home educators and parents. 

Brief:

The brief is to write a short headline and a one-sentence value proposition that quickly tells visitors to the site exactly what they can find there and how it can benefit them.

Creative process:

I aimed to appeal to the adult that recognizes they can't do it on their own.
