Well, I'll tell you . . .
My name is Alexis. I graduated from Georgia State University with a BIS in Game Design and Development and a minor in English. I've been freelancing for 2.5 years, and have had the opportunity to publish over 400 articles, edit dozens, and edit multiple manuscripts for fellow writers.
Behind the technicalities, I'm an aspiring author who has been writing stories for over a decade and found a home in freelance writing and editing. My love for video games and storytelling inspired me to pursue a higher education, but freelancing has been a dream come true.
My desire for adventure and knowledge has taken me to haunted houses, the big city, and coffee shops all over. But there is so much I want to do, so much I aspire to be, as a creator. I hope that my stories and experiences will one day help other dreamers the way stories have helped me.
On Poggers's company blog, I currently write video game guides, movie summary and reviews, info pages, product list, and more! I also help edit and upload articles for other writers on the site.
On Gamers Decide, a blog owned by Valnet Inc, I wrote five articles covering the Top 10 Scenes for the Harry Potter movies.
I wrote over 300 video game guides from Feb. 2024-Mar. 2025. These guides all covered new releases and ranged from side quest walkthroughs to trophy guides.
In need of a writer with knowledge of video games and the gaming industry?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Game Design and know my way around the software used to develop video games. I am also an avid gamer and know what the players are looking for!
Are you a writer and a perfectionist who can't get passed the editing phase?
Trust me, I know how that feels. Self-editing is important, but a second pair of eyes is the best way ensure your writing reaches its full potential!
In need of a book editor?
With a bachelor's degree, a minor in English, and experience editing multiple fantasy, paranormal, and self-help manuscripts (as well as dozens of articles), I understand what its like to be both a writer and a perfectionist. My goal is to preserve your unique voice while helping your work reach its full potential.
