Brand narrative & voice

A digital services agency wanted to communicate their unique value to their target audience more effectively. I leveraged their marketing insights and organisational goals to craft a new brand narrative and translate it into persuasive client-facing copy.

Survivor services site

I collaborated with Avalon Sexual Assault Centre and Ottawa Victim Services in Canada to restructure and rewrite their websites. Leveraging my experience in usability and accessibility, I created clear content that guides and reassures vulnerable audiences.

Personal finance guides

I wrote more than 50 guides on personal finance for Monzo, a leading app-based bank in the UK. I used plain language to help readers digest complex concepts, and a conversational tone to let Monzo's friendliness and authenticity shine through.

Industry research paper

A recruitment company in the life sciences space wanted a whitepaper to generate leads. I conducted market research, collected and analysed more than 1,500 survey responses, and wrote up the insights. I worked closely with designers to ensure the visuals and copy came together seamlessly. The paper exceeded its target downloads by more than 50%.

Weddings venue website

A hospitality business was launching a new website aimed at high-value customers. I worked closely with the owners to communicate the luxurious qualities and unique stories of its stunning countryside estate.

Lead generation emails

I wrote a series of emails driving customers to Experian's car insurance comparison service. Concise copy, a clear call to action and a friendly tone made this campaign a success.

B2B brand voice

A corporate finance firm needed new website copy for its brand refresh. I interviewed team members to understand what made the company unique and what they wanted to achieve with the refresh. This allowed me to craft a new brand voice and write persuasive copy that resonates with the firm's clients.

Digital services agency

I work with a digital services agency to create copy for landing pages, blog posts, social media, paid ads, email campaigns, videos and more. I've gained experience writing about topics such as Drupal, web development, UX design, and digital strategy.

Social media campaign

This boutique communications agency wanted to create a social media presence to increase brand awareness and engagement. I strategised, planned and created content for a three-month campaign. The agency's Twitter followers doubled as a result.

Non-profit website

I worked with the City for All Women Initiative (CAWI) in Ottawa, Canada to create content aimed at local communities, donors and policy decision-makers. I used plain language to educate readers about civic engagement, and drew on diverse voices to reflect CAWI's commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
