My name is Jessica,

my artist name is Wynn, and my nickname is Star.

⟡ I have a passion for languages and learning. I am a creative, resourceful, out of the box thinker, and diligent worker. In any job I'm given I always do my best. My goals are lofty, and I work hard to achieve them. I recently immigrated from America to the United Kingdom and am actively searching for work that I resonate with at least morally and academically. As an immigrant from one culture to another, alongside the cultivation of my knowledge of cultures and languages outside of English, I've gained notable strength in intercultural communication, respect, and understanding. As such, I have a comfortable grasp on the intricacies of globalization and excel in communication with those from various countries and backgrounds.

This globalization mindset has provided me with invaluable tools which can be adapted and used by many fields. Translation, localisation, marketing, public relations, copywriting, and cultural advisory and development are several examples of how my unique experience can be successfully utilized.

⟡ I am a resourceful, self-starter, and had to learn and do almost everything myself in my adolescence and young adult life. I am an abuse and trauma survivor, and a proud First Generation Higher Education achiever.

In university my interests were mainly linguistic, and I received a certificate of proficiency in Japanese. My goal, however, is to take this further by studying Japanese in Japan in the future. Other interests academically were Religion, Cultural Understanding, Philosophy, and History. I was also the president of the Japanese Student Association for 3 years, through which I gained team leadership skills, event planning, advertising and promotion, and adaptive thinking as I used new and creative methods to keep the association alive during the pandemic.

I am very good at research and writing and I graduated with a 3.7gpa.

⟡ Over ten years of various education and work experiences provided me with myriad skills, such as: leadership capabilities, professional writing, organization and attention to detail, interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and a high degree of creativity, passion, and determination.

Personally my interests include: Language study (Japanese and Chinese currently) Creating Art, Writing Music and Poetry, Singing, Flower Arrangement, Matcha and Loose Leaf Tea, Gaming, and Spending time with my new Husband and Stepdaughter.

I'm a self-driven woman with an honest heart. My goal is to live a happy and prosperous life in harmony with others. ⟡
