About me

Freelance Journalist with a gold standard NCTJ accreditation. Specialised in writing about unique counter-cultures, alternative trends, public affairs and how the arts intersect with society.

I believe, today more than ever, journalism is a crucial practice to hold power to account, and quality reporting is essential to democracy. My journalistic motivation is to use my outrage for injustice to fuel my ability to deliver important public interest stories. Passionate about the English language and media, I have curated exquisite verbal, written and digital communication skills. I thrive working within fast-paced environments where creativity is pivotal and there are always opportunities to learn.

I'm particularly interested in and educated upon issues of misinformation in the post-truth era, and my dissertation explored how we can combat issues of fake news, and make fact-based media more sustainable.
