With over 15 years of creative strategy, campaign development and product marketing experience on the brand, agency and start-up sides of the house, I bring a lot to the table, offering a unique perspective of the media landscape and how brands, businesses and customers interact.
Throughout my career, I've worn many hats from Entrepreneur to Creative Director to Digital/Social Marketing Manager to Product UX Design Strategist, strengthening my creative meets analytical problem-solving skills, passion for marketing, eye for design, and business sensibility.
With the right balance of enthusiasm, transparency, empathy and decisiveness, I am a dedicated leader and team player with a management style that fosters a culture of collaboration, productivity, accountability, and outside-the-box thinking.
In my latest role leading Partner Marketing Creative Strategy at Warner Bros. Discovery, I managed the relationships and scope of work across 20+ agencies, and was responsible for the overall creative and strategic execution of 360 marketing campaigns promoting HBO and Max subscriber growth, retention and engagement. These revenue-generating campaigns spun across all media including video, digital, social, AR/emerging tech, print, and point-of-sale. During my 11+ years with HBO/Warner Bros. Discovery, I’ve navigated a lot of change while continuing to drive business forward, and was an integral part of various new product launches and award-winning marketing campaigns.
While I was exploring the corporate world, I also started my own business, Marlie Renee Designs, a design studio that specialized in creating custom branding, marketing collateral and stationery for weddings, events, small businesses, and non-profits including Susan G. Komen.
Our work was featured on top national wedding publications including The Knot, Munaluchi Bride, Style Me Pretty, and Wedding Chicks as well as local media outlets including New Jersey Bride and Hoboken Girl. Additionally, I was interviewed as a subject matter expert for Brides Magazine, Bloomberg, Martha Stewart Weddings, and local podcasts Hoboken Creatives and Live Picture Studios.
