My road to writing for a living.

It started with journaling for my fifth-grade writing class, then I fell in love with poetry, and moved onto writing short stories and creating plays in the living room of my family home. In high school I decided to pursue journalism, writing for the school paper, but I never lost my passion for creative writing. So, I went on to college, majoring in English Literature, and submitted poems for the literary journal. In grad school, while studying journalism, I was drawn to feature writing. I loved telling stories of people and their journeys.

Throughout the years my own journey has allowed me to pursue various writing opportunities including creating content for award-winning publications, nonprofits, and website content.

I started focusing on content marketing for organizations and individual clients and now create content for websites, blogs, and social media.
