B2B SEO blog

My background as a journalist and SEO marketing manager showed me that I thrive best when I’m digging deep, connecting dots, and turning research into writing that respects the reader.

Running UX studio's blog

The situation

I ran UX studio's B2B blog, a more than 10 years old knowledge base with 300+ entries.

The task

Beyond writing and publishing SEO posts, I've been proofreading & editing every post since 2024.

Actions

While I was the sole marketer responsible for the project, I had 30+ contributors to coordinate (designers and researchers) who either lent me their insight through interviews, or submitted their own copy for editing.

Beyond publishing new content, maintenance, updates and rewrites were a major part of my strategy.

Results

Although 2025 was a rough year for SEO, I managed to keep a DR 66, an orgaic traffic of ~22k, and 700+ keywords, 350+ of which are top #1-3 positions. All this without paid links or any other shady trick.

Editing teaches you about writing

I make sure my edits and suggestions are traceable and understandeable. I also take time to get familiar with the voice of frequent collaborators and learn from their experise.

Overview

Example: how my rewrite boosted traffic

The result: my April rewrite immediately improved organic traffic, getting from an average of 6 visits a month to 300
