Following a research-based repositioning, I had to rewrite the copy for key pages of UX studio's site.
Service pages. About us pages. Career pages. The whole shebang.
Before: the old copy had vague mission statements and didn't address applicants directly.
After: I made the copy more accurate, engaging and energetic
The challenge
As expected, the design set strict limitations for character count, and I had to follow the existing tone of voice. All copies needed to be aligned, written, edited, accepted and formatted.
Working in 1-2 week sprints, I nailed the project. 💅
The results (drumroll, please)
Before: the old contact page had a 80% dropoff rate
After: I've created new copy and collabed with our bizdevs and a designer for a cleaner version supported by social proof
Oh, I also managed to achieve a 17% improvement in conversion within one month of release
