1. Ideally, I get to interview my client and ask about their genuine opinions on hot topics I select / we agree on. This way, I also get a realistic sample for their natural tone of voice.
2. The next step is to gather my notes and create a first draft with structural edits. I'm organizing everything into a coherent flow and remove fillers.
3. Next, I rewrite the copy following the best practices of the required format, for example, a LinkedIn post. I make sure that the text is optimized, but read naturally, and engages readers.
4. LLMs are great at pattern recognition, so there's no shame in using AI for the next round of edits. To make sure the optimized post still aligns with the client's way of speaking, I prompt ChatGPT to adjust the TOV, then review the output.
5. I take back control and manually remove clichés, unnatural expressions, edit the text, add missing info and subtle CTAs, and make it ready to go.
Virality is great, and I'm super proud when my outstanding posts get a ton of engagement. Still, my ultimate goal is to build up a social media presence that can be a reliable marketing channel for the client.
