Julia earned her master's degree in Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, a top-ranked communications program. The Newhouse School awarded her with the Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism Graduate Achievement Award during her studies.
In 2023, Julia completed a bachelor's degree in Journalism with minors in Communication Studies, Professional Writing, and Branding and Imaging with high honors from Edinboro University.
Julia currently works as a Content Creator at Kate & Co, a women-owned boutique consulting firm where she specializes in writing , editing, and photography.
She has words published in The Erie Reader, The Central Current, The Meadville Tribune, The NewsHouse, and The Spectator. Julia has also completed research in women's and gender studies. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, muckraking, and perusing comics in the New Yorker.
