julia carden (she/her) is a creative based in erie, pa, specializing in writing, editing, and photography.

she has words published in The Central Current, The Meadville Tribune, The NewsHouse, and The Spectator. julia is a project manager at kate & co., a woman-owned communications and marketing agency. she also serves on the editorial board of Erie Gay News and contributes as a freelance writer for the Erie Reader.

julia holds an m.a. in magazine, news, and digital journalism from the newhouse school of public communications at syracuse university, a top-ranked communications program. she earned a b.a. in journalism from edinboro university with three minors in communication studies, professional writing, and public relations: branding and imaging.
