International Women's Day (Mölnlycke Health Care)

The initiative

We work with a lot of amazing women. And when we realised International Women's Day was coming up, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to give credit where it was overdue.

What I did

• asked for company-wide nominations

• gathered photos, quotes, and consent forms (one must be GD>PR-compliant, after all)

• created visuals + copy (see below)

• posted on LinkedIn and Instagram, as well as Yammer/Viva Exchange

Final results

• LinkedIn: Impressions: 18,607 / Views: 572 / Clicks: 336 / CTR: 1.81% / Reactions: 222 / Comments: 15 /Shares: 13 / Engagement rate: 3.15%

• Instagram: 102 total likes / 3 total comments

One of the goals with International Women’s Day this year is to ‘to forge inclusive work cultures where women's careers thrive, and their achievements are celebrated.’

To do this, we asked our colleagues around the world to help us nominate women at Mölnlycke who we feel deserve to be celebrated. Many of them work quietly behind the scenes – but now, in their own co-workers’ words, it’s high time we gave them the praise they deserve. Thank you for all you do, and all you are.
