As a native Los Angeleno, David Ramirez is inspired by the multitude of worlds around him. From the Gateway Cities to Santa Monica, there's stories to be told on every corner. David has been a student of storytelling all his life, starting with short stories and poetry, expanding into songwriting and screenplays. Thus, at the advice of his high school English teacher (shout out Mrs. D'Brot), David began to pursue writing as a career.
His vision and goal as a writer is to lift up voices from the margins of society.
Although it hasn't always been a linear journey, it seems that at his core, David was born to be a writer.

At least that's what he tells himself.
