I intentionally labeled my portfolio "Writing with Laura" because I believe in a collaborative process. One of the biggest "AHA" moments I had early in my career, was when a consultant said to a group of us marketing newbies
"you are not your audience".
And I'm not yours (unless you're selling wine, travel or puppies). Only you know your product, service, or cause like no one else. But subjectivity can be a tricky business. Let me objectively tell your story in a way that speaks to your audience, reflects your brand, and you can keep doing what you do best.
Quite simply I love to write. The only thing that gets in the way of writing is reading. Ok, and drinking great wine with my girl gang. And traveling. Never chores.
I'm an empath, feeler, sensitive - fill in the label, you get the idea. I'm weirdly gifted at being about to pull the just right language out of a person they sometimes can't find on their own.
