Luxury Olive Oil Launch

How it started

Dave's Gourmet was better known for their hot sauce and pasta sauce product lines—or as you might've seen on TikTok, their Pink Sauce. This product line was their bold launch into the olive oil market. The goals of the project?

  1. Make the labels unique, using Dave Gourmet's brand guidelines

  2. Appeal to their ideal audience, with a premium look, feel, and messaging

Thinking outside the label

Since the labels were heavy on the visuals and space for text was very limited, I began by doing my research:

  1. What information do consumers care about most?

  2. Why would they buy this product?

Final results

Working closely with an Art Director, we created a bold label for a premium product that stands out on the shelf and tells a beautiful product story.

  • Transparent sourcing (location, location, location)

  • Important process details (hand-picked)

  • Single estate mention (which is a rare differentiator)
