How do I know if your price is reasonable?

Think of a copywriter’s fee as an investment rather than a cost. Because copy is all about adding value to your business and generating returns. You should think of the value you’re getting over the price, especially because sales copy drives performance and revenue that can far exceed the amount you invested.

It’s challenging to find someone who delivers high-quality content that matches my brand’s voice.

Copywriters are capable of adapting their writing style to match each brand’s voice. Depending on the client, they might be tasked with creating their brand voice for them, working from their brand voice guidelines, or using existing communications to enact their voice.

I produce high-quality content that’s on-brand, thoroughly researched, and results-driven, with a creative and strategic process behind it.

I’m worried about the reliability and availability of a freelance copywriter.

I only take on a limited number of projects at a time, so I can be fully committed to your project and deliver high-quality work when you expect it. If life gets in the way, I’ll be open and transparent and not leave you hanging.

I’ll be sharing sensitive business information and I’m concerned about the misuse of private information.

I respect the sensitivity and confidentiality of all client information and will adhere to any confidentiality agreements I’ve signed. I’ll also seek your permission to include the project in my portfolio and to share any results I’ve achieved for you.

It’s difficult to predict and manage expenses, especially if revisions or additional work are needed.

I’ll provide an upfront quote for the project that takes into consideration all work involved and includes two rounds of revisions to get the copy to your satisfaction. As long as the project meets the brief and is exactly as we discussed, that’s the only price you’ll pay.

The upfront quote doesn’t include additional work as a result of changes or additions to the original brief and requests to revise the copy following submission of the final draft.

I need you to guarantee a conversion rate or ROI before we start.

Freelance copywriters can’t guarantee a conversion rate or ROI as they could miscalculate and overpromise on results that haven’t come to fruition. We might be able to disclose what we’ve achieved for other clients if they’ve agreed to share that data with us.

Every project is different and some factors affect performance, including:

  • Brand perception

  • Branding and messaging

  • Quality of your products/services

  • Reviews and experiences of customers/clients

  • Website design and functionality
