Rec Rocks

I produced Rec Room's first virtual music festival, with over 125,000 visits in two days. I worked both with our eight artists and their management and our four external build teams (totaling 28 people) to make the event happen. We increased technical reliability of events through targeted development work, increased QA, and encouraging knowledge sharing amongst teams. This event generated significant revenue through sales of event-related merch and provided a significant installation bump due to event cards in various app stores.

And I still get asked more than a year later if we're doing another one!

Rec Con

Rec Room's annual virtual convention is always a hit! In 2021 and 2022, I produced this three day event focused on the Rec Room community and beyond, with panels, events, parties, and a keynote from Rec Room's creative director. The event generated significant revenue and showcased new creative features of the UGC ecosystem.

Arts Festival

Working with a crew of volunteers, I produced a seven day virtual Arts Festival celebrating the musical, comedic, and artistic talents of the Rec Room community. The event had almost 500,000 room visits and gave opportunities for Rec Room artists, musicians and actors to develop their audiences.
