Ever since I was little, I’ve always captured images and videos, whether it was using my dad's camcorder or a Quicksnap camera. From directing sitcoms with my Barbies to casting my siblings and cousins as actors for a short film, it was in me from a young age to create!
Alongside this love for visuals, I loved to write stories! I remember filling a copy book about fictional best friends, based on my own experiences of becoming a teenager. English became one of my favourite subjects where I thrived. Unsurprisingly, art was the the subject that trumped all others - my happy space to truly feel at home!
It started with a Bachelors in Creative Digital Media, I knew I wanted to be in a career that allowed me to express my creativity. This course allowed me to explore all avenues of digital media in a very innovative and expressive manner!
By the end of my Bachelors I knew I loved telling stories and connecting with people. I saw social media marketing as the outlet to combine both my love of storytelling and creating. But I always wanted to know "why" and "how" people are perceiving the content - here comes the analytical side! I completed an internship in marketing and have since worked 5 years in social media marketing and content creation.
I've built my knowledge and skills in: social media strategy, editorial calendars, scheduling, copywriting, brand tone of voice, social video editing, influencer marketing, a wide variety of campaigns: product, events, promotions etc. I use insights and analytics to the brands advantage: to measure KPI's that show growth and awareness of the brands social profile while also directing the high performing content to paid advertising.
I am an avid poster to my personal pages, you will find me sharing guides on vegan friendly places in Ireland, uncovering fun things to do with my family, supporting small businesses and slow fashion while regularly showing love to Dublin, Ireland and anywhere I travel!
