The Volunteer Club
We are Rocky Top’s all-access pass into the lives of the UT elite; a membership-based organization dedicated to supporting the next generation of Tennesseans. The Vol Club connects student-athletes to local businesses, charitable organizations and fans.
On a mission to create name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities for Volunteers and support the surrounding area, my client gives 90% of every dollar generated through subscription fees directly to athletes.
The Ask:
The Vol Club needed original content featuring top Tennessee players to serve as publicity for the student-athletes and share with members. They enlisted my help writing weekly newsletters, episodic interviews and additional branded content.

Behind-the-Scenes Interviews
I help produce a digital series introducing fans to an interactive sportscast experience featuring their favorite players. Ahead of each episode of Vol Club Confidential, I research our guests and write scripts prompting the elite student-athletes to reveal their personal experiences navigating the pressures and perks that come with their coveted jerseys. Viewers learn about the latest NIL news and essential member information by tuning into the series. I incorporate fans’ burning questions in the script, guiding guests to open up about their competitive edge, career journeys and untold stories.
Before releasing the episodes on Spotify and YouTube, I review each and compose SEO-rich descriptions to accompany the recordings. I highlight buzz-worthy topics and highly sought reveals in the show summaries, calling out heartfelt and humorous anecdotes in between.

An Identity for the Home Team
We launched a new Twitch series to let fans watch our elite roster of UT athletes go head-to-head in their favorite video games. I was challenged to give the channel a name that captured the spirit of friendly competition that would play out on the live stream and compelled viewers to tune in to watch Tennessee teammates take each other on.
After playing around with video game verbiage and sporty sayings, I landed on Keeping Score, a name that aligns with the Volunteer Club’s branding and celebrates respectful rivalries.
