These Website Standard Terms and Conditions written on this webpage shall manage your use of this website (Copyfolio). These Terms will be applied fully and affect your use of Copyfolio. By using Copyfolio, you agree to accept all terms and conditions written in here. You must not use Copyfolio if you disagree with any of these Website Standard Terms and Conditions. Minors or people below 18 years old are not allowed to use Copyfolio.
Other than the content you own, under these Terms, UXfolio LLC and/or its licensors own all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in Copyfolio.
You are granted limited license only for purposes of viewing the material contained on Copyfolio.
You are specifically restricted from all of the following:
- enabling or allowing others to use Copyfolio with your login credentials,
- selling, sublicensing and/or otherwise commercializing any Copyfolio material,
- publicly performing and/or showing any Copyfolio material,
- using Copyfolio in any way that is or may be damaging to Copyfolio,
- using Copyfolio in any way that impacts user access to Copyfolio,
- using Copyfolio contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in any way may cause harm to Copyfolio, or to any person or business entity,
- engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or any other similar activity in relation to Copyfolio.
Certain areas of Copyfolio are restricted from being access by you and UXfolio LLC may further restrict access by you to any areas of Copyfolio, at any time, in absolute discretion. Any user ID and password you may have for Copyfolio are confidential and you must maintain confidentiality as well.
In these Website Standard Terms and Conditions, “Your Content” shall mean any audio, video, text, images or other material you choose to display on Copyfolio. By adding Your Content publicly (on your pages or published projects) to your website hosted by Copyfolio, you grant UXfolio LLC the right to reproduce, adapt, and display Your Content in advertising and marketing materials. This won't apply to content not visible publicly (e.g.: drafts or projects under password protection).
If you would like us NOT to use Your Content as outlined above, you can request this via email.
Your Content must not contain any information or material for any activity which breaches any laws or regulations, promotes gambling, infringes a third party’s rights or privacy, or is contrary to any relevant standards or codes, including generally accepted community standards.
If suspicion arises about Your Content breaching these Terms, UXfolio LLC reserves the right to ban you from further use of Copyfolio. Also, Your Content will be removed without notice and any Subscription Fees paid for it before will not be refunded.
UXfolio LLC reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from Copyfolio at any time without notice.
Copyfolio is provided "as is", with all faults, and UXfolio LLC expresses no representations or warranties, of any kind related to Copyfolio or the materials contained on Copyfolio. Also, nothing contained on Copyfolio shall be interpreted as advising you.
In no event shall UXfolio LLC, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, shall be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of Copyfolio whether such liability is under contract. UXfolio LLC, including its officers, directors and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of Copyfolio.
You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent UXfolio LLC from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
UXfolio LLC is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using Copyfolio you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
The UXfolio LLC is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between UXfolio LLC and you in relation to your use of Copyfolio, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
These Terms and Conditions and Your use of this website and any dispute or claim arising from or in association with such matters shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Hungary and You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts.
UXfolio LLC reserve the right to bring proceedings against any party which is in breach of these Terms and Conditions ("defaulting party") in the courts of the location of the breach, the courts of the country of the defaulting party's residence at Our sole discretion.
As long as you pay the fees stated for your Copyfolio subscription plan (Subscription Fees), you may use our software (Software) as a service through the copyfol.io website on a non-exclusive and non-transferable basis, subject to the limitations set out in these terms (Subscription).
In case you subscribe to Premium with monthly payments, your Copyfolio Premium subscription will continue month-to-month until terminated. In case you subscribe to Premium with yearly payments, your Copyfolio Premium subscription will continue year-to-year until terminated.
Unless you cancel your subscription before your monthly/yearly billing date, you authorize us to charge your next month/year's subscription fee to your card.
You are free to cancel your Copyfolio subscription at any time. Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial-month subscription periods. To cancel, click on the profile picture in the top right corner of the editor and select "Manage account" from the appearing menu. Under "Subscriptions", click the "Cancel" button on the Copyfolio plan card and follow the steps to finalize your cancelation. If your having trouble, contact us, we're happy to help.
In order to cancel your subscription via email, you need to submit your request minimum 5 business days before the renewal date. In case you send your cancelation request too late, our team cannot take responsibility if you get charged for renewal.
Also, please note that canceling your subscription via email is only possible if you contact us from the email address that was used to sign up to Copyfolio.
We may change our subscription plans and the price of our subscriptions from time to time; however, any price changes or changes to our plans will apply to you no earlier than 30 days following notice to you. Any changes to your plan will be communicated to you 30 days in advance.
If a payment error occurs on your Copyfolio account we will always aim to rectify this. We do not advise you file a dispute or chargeback with your card provider as as a result we will be forced to block access to your account and remove all your data for however long it takes for the bank to close your dispute.
The following Terms and Conditions (Domain Terms) apply for the domain name registration services (Domain Services) that Copyfolio provides to you. By using the Domain Services provided by Copyfolio you consent to the Domain Terms. Some Copyfolio subscription plans may include us registering a domain name or renewing your existing domain name (Domain Name) on your behalf. For the purpose of the acquisition and maintenance of domains, Copyfolio serves only as an agent between you and the domain name service provider (Registrar), which is either Amazon Registrar, Inc. or their registrar associate, Gandi. If you have purchased a domain, you can find out who the registrar is here:
All new registrations and renewals of domain name registrations will therefore also be subject to the terms and conditions contained in Amazon Registrar's or Gandi's Legal Agreements and Policies.
It is your responsibility to check that the domain name you wish to register does not violate the rights of any third party or breach applicable laws, regulations or rules. Copyfolio may refuse the activation of a domain name until payment of the agreed fees for the registration services has been received. You acknowledge that there may be a delay before the configuration of your domain name propagates. Copyfolio has no influence on the allocation of the domain name by the Registrar.
Copyfolio can not guarantee that the requested domain names will be allocated to you nor that the domain name registrations will continue to renew. Any information we provide regarding domain availability is based on the data provided by the Registrar and only refers to the time that information is requested. The domain will not be allocated before its entry in the database of the Registrar.
Following the initial registration term of a domain name the registration will automatically renew for another term. You will be charged for automatic renewal on the applicable default renewal date before your domain expires. The domain name renewal date might differ from your Copyfolio subscription plan renewal date. You can opt-out of automatic renewal by turning off the auto-renew option in the editor or in your account settings before the automatic renewal takes effect. Each purchased domain is yours to keep if you continue to pay the applicable fees.
Maintaining accurate credit card information is a necessary condition of maintaining your domain names. If your credit card information is not current, we will not renew your Domain Services and they may expire.
If domain name registration expires for non-payment, we will have the right, in our sole discretion, to:
- register and use the domain name for its own purpose;
- sell or transfer the domain name to a third party; or
- delete the domain name and allow it to be registered again.
You may transfer all domain names registered through Copyfolio to another domain name service provider by following the instructions that we provide. However, you will not be eligible for a refund of registration fees paid to us for transferred domains. Should we, due to your failure or the part of the new domain name provider, be unable to make the domain transfer to your new domain name provider, we are entitled to have the canceled domain name deleted after the ongoing renewal cycle, and we will not be liable to you or any third party for such deletion.
Connecting your purchased domain name to your Copyfolio website is only possible if you have an active Copyfolio Subscription. Should you cancel your Subscription and revert back to the Free Plan, your purchased domain name will be disconnected from your Copyfolio site. This will not affect your ownership of the domain and the connection can be restored by renewing your Copyfolio subscription.
If we are made a party to any legal action by virtue of one of your domain name registrations, you agree to be responsible for all of our costs and legal fees and to indemnify and hold us harmless from any action.
